Residency Clinics

The Midtown Medical Group Residency Clinics were established with the purpose of providing a venue for Community Memorial Health System residents to care for patients in community-based practices.  These clinics are specifically designed to give our residents the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients from diverse socioeconomic levels and cultural backgrounds and to work under the supervision of experienced faculty.

Resident learning is patient-centered, supplemented by an ambulatory curriculum with educational goals and objectives for each year of training.  Dedicated didactic sessions cover a broad spectrum of general medical and subspecialty conditions as well as clinical documentation, billing and coding, insurance coverage, Patient Centered Medical home, and high value care.

General Surgery and Orthopaedic residents provide outpatient evaluation and pre-and postoperative care in our clinics.  All residents provide call coverage for the clinics.  Depending on their specialty, residents rotate throughout the various clinic locations.

The Midtown Medical Group operates three distinct clinics:

  • Midtown Medical – Family Practice clinic
  • Midtown Medical -Multi-specialty clinic
  • Midtown Medical -Ojai Clinic

The Family Practice and Multi-specialty clinics are located in Ventura in the vicinity of Community Memorial Hospital.  The Ojai Clinic is located in the vicinity of Ojai valley Community Hospital, a critical access rural hospital.
