Why Ventura? For me, it started with the residents, attendings, scrub techs, nurses, and everyone else who makes Community Memorial run. Everyone at Community Memorial is incredibly focused on providing the best care possible for the patients, and I resonated with that. Within the Orthopedic Surgery department, there is a clear desire to produce excellent, well-rounded surgeons who practice in an evidence-based fashion. Outside the hospital, Ventura boasts exceptional restaurants, a vibrant social scene, and countless outdoor activities, which help me recharge after a long day's work.
