Why Ventura? I was drawn to Community Memorial at Ventura because of its warm, inviting community with a kind, team-based environment, all in a gorgeous locale. Hands-on care for patients with osteopathic manipulative treatment is a core professional value for me, and Community Memorial’s strong osteopathic program provides an excellent opportunity to further pursue my osteopathic development with fellow residents and medical students. The richly prevalent Spanish-speaking community of Ventura allows me to further my lifelong interest in expanding care access to this underserved community and developing language resources to assist other interested medical providers in doing the same.

Next Adventure: After completion of Family Medicine residency, I anticipate completing a one-year “Plus One” fellowship in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (O-NMM).
