Home Town: San Francisco, CA
Undergrad School: Seattle University
Graduate school/Medical School: Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine
Life before medical school: Marine Biologist for King County in Seattle, Washington.
Why Ventura? I actually didn’t have the opportunity to interview with the program until late into the application season, but I was quickly drawn to how supportive the program is towards its residents. There was also just a gut feeling that made CMH fit with my interests. A large part of that was probably seeing how everyone got along so well with each other, how many opportunities are presented, and how diverse the patient population is; you really can’t help but become excited at all the possibilities! Also I’m a California boy, and having the opportunity to be back is a great plus!
Next Adventure: Can’t wait to learn how to become a great physician, but also looking forward to wedding planning w/ my fiance, going hiking again (sorry Alabama, but you’re way too humid for that), and exploring the region w/ my co-residents!
Medical Interests: Preventative & Community Medicine!
