Community Memorial Healthcare is proud to offer a newly ACGME-accredited community-based, community-focused psychiatry residency program with an emphasis on consultation/liaison psychiatry.
Our program is the result of collaboration between Community Memorial Healthcare, Ventura County Medical Center and Ventura County Behavioral Health.
As a new program, we are looking for pioneering residents with a dedication to community psychiatry to join us in building our program. Our program’s aim is to provide the skills, knowledge, experience, education and training to develop outstanding community psychiatrists and leaders in enhancing psychiatric services at all levels throughout Ventura County.
We have a diverse and experienced faculty. Due to our small size, we offer the advantage of rigorous training, close supervision, and mentorship, not only in the acquisition of skills but also in conducting research and career planning.
