Academic Health Centers

Community Memorial is home to six Academic Medicine Health Centers, located in Ventura and Ojai. In these health centers, resident and faculty physicians see primary, specialty, and urgent care patients.

Many residents also spend time working in one or more of our non-academic Health Centers, providing primary and specialty care throughout west Ventura County.

VENTURA

Family, Internal Medicine, and Medical Specialty: Located on the campus of Community Memorial Hospital – Ventura, this Academic Medicine Health Center offers primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Surgical Specialty Care: Located on the campus of Community Memorial Hospital – Ventura, this Academic Medicine Health Center offers care in orthopedic surgery, general surgery, neurology, and interventional pain management.

OJAI

Family Medicine: Located in Ojai, this Academic Medicine Health Center offers primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Geriatric, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, and Psychology: Located adjacent to Community Memorial Hospital – Ojai, this Community Memorial Academic Medicine Health Center offers primary care to adults ages 18 and older, specialized geriatric care, orthopedic surgery care, and psychology services.

PEDIATRICS

Pediatrics: Located in Oxnard, this Community Memorial Academic Medicine Health Center provides pediatric primary and specialty care.

URGENT CARE

Urgent Care Clinic: Located in Ventura and staffed with family and internal medicine resident and faculty physicians, this Academic Medicine Health Center offers acute care to patients in the community.
