PGY2 residents also participate in an outpatient continuity clinic a half day a week on their academic day.
PGY3 Year
100% outpatient plus call responsibilities. Clinics include Ventura County
Behavioral Health clinics, CMH outpatient clinic, and electives*.
12 months
PGY4 Year
Ventura County Medical Center consult liaison, geriatric psychiatry, and
electives*.
12 months
*Electives include chief resident inpatient, chief resident outpatient, forensic, consultation/liaison, community psychiatry, further psychotherapy, cultural psychiatry, and additional research.
